UREKA Summer Research Programme for Undergraduate Students
The Infectious Disease UREKA Programme is now in its 6th year and offers undergraduate students the opportunity to experience laboratory research and to acquire a range of scientific skills during a ten-week period in summer 2010. Students will conduct an independent research project on an infectious disease topic with an active research group at NUI, Galway. They will also attend a variety of events to further develop the skills needed for a career in research. Undergraduate students with a strong interest in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases are particularly encouraged to apply.
